- Word: It allows creating text documents. One can type anything, insert pictures and graphs. Teachers may use it to use for easier and faster citation and references. Also it’s used for typing exams.· Table of content:ü To create a text: =rand(a,b) where a: # of paragraphs and b: #of lines per a paragraph.ü To select a heading: select the sentence, go to home, style then choose heading 1 or heading 2 or a subheading, or etc….ü To make the table of references: go to references, table of content, choose a style (contents) PS: Titles are hyperlinkü If you added any extra heading, double click the table, press update table then update entire table.· References:ü Go to references, choose APA style, and go to the paragraph where you want the citation. Insert citation (before the punctuation), add new source, and fill the information.ü Choose type of source (book, journal, etc…) PS: used sources will be saved.ü If there’s more than 1 author, press edit, type the name then press: OK.ü If there’s extra information not shown, press: show all bibliography fields. PS: To add any information later after citation, click on it and press: edit source.ü To cite a quotation: write it then insert citation as it’s mentioned above. - Google drive: It
allows storing files to cloud. Teachers may use it to save exams and documents
she may need at any time.· Saving on Google drive:ü Open Gmail then press on the nine dots up to the right ÞDrive Þnew Þ make folder Þ name it Þ create. PS: You can choose a color for the folder: right click Þ change color.ü Open the folderÞ new Þ file upload Þ choose a file.
- Google form: It allows collecting information from users via quizzes or
surveys. Teachers may do online quizzes or ask students for contact
information. · To do a quiz:ü Open Gmail; go to the nine dots up to the rightÞmore Þ FormsÞ Blank. Put a title, write description then type questions. PS: Theme can be chose as a color or an image.ü Choose to each question a type of answer that suits it (multiple choice, etc…)ü Contact information should be required (the quiz can’t be submitted without answering)ü You can use multiple choices or checkboxes but if there’s more than correct answer then use multiple choice grid or checkbox grid.ü To prevent cheating: PresentationÞ shuffle questions. PS: You can add confirmation message as “You’re done with your exam”.ü To add points and answer keyÞ Click on the question Þ Answer keyÞ put points and add answer feedback. - Google docs: It allows creating, editing, and sharing documents with
others. Teachers can use it to do tests and share it. Also, a teacher can discuss and comment on an exam with other teacher or coordinator.· Sharing document with a partner:ü To write an exam, you may use Microsoft word by uploading it to drive Þ open with Google docs. Or, use directly Google docs by opening Google drive Þ new Þ Google docsü You can chat and share the document with othersü To restore a version, Go to file Þ version history Þ click on the version and name it.
- Blogger: It allows to reflect one's experience and write personal notes. One can also write articles and posts. Teachers may use it to publish their students' work or their own work.
- Webinar: It allows attending online events engaging in important and interesting topics from each one's place. Teachers may use it to explain lessons while students are at homes.
- Padlet: It
is an application to create an online bulletin board that is used to
display information for any topic. Teachers may use it to get comments or quick responses
about a certain question. This makes students interact, think and work at
once. . Instead of using sticky notes, Padlet is
helpful.

- WebQuest: It
is an enquiry-based learning tool which encourages students to become
responsible for their own learning. It’s used to seek something on the
web. Teachers may use it to direct students in their research about certain
topic or projects. So teachers direct students exactly where to search by
providing clear guidelines. In this way, teachers avoid plagiarism,
authentic, not related material and make students feel safe since net is a
big seek.
- To create a WebQuest:

11.Quizlet: is a free website providing learning
tools for students, including flashcards, study and game modes. Teachers may
use it to help students study information through interactive tools and games or for evaluation process.

12.Kahoot: is a learning game. It’s a multiple-choice
quiz. Teachers may use it to review students' knowledge, for formative
assessment, or as a break from traditional classroom activities to bring engagement
and fun to students.Teacher also may use it to
check understanding of everyone using time to be definite and fast thinking. The
teacher can show the result and percentage of the correct answer also show who is
the first and fast one to give a correct answer.
13.Poll Everywhere: is an application
for audience participation. Teachers may use it to bring more interactivity
into classroom and engage students in learning experience. Poll Everywhere can be used as a live classroom quizzes or
formative assessment strategy that enhances and amplifies classroom discussion,
participation, and understanding. Students can vote and then results can be
displayed.
13.Google slides: is an online
presentation app that lets you create and format presentations and work with
other people from different parts of word. With
Google Slides, you can create, edit, collaborate, and present wherever you want
for free. Teachers may use it to present what she is explaining with a visual
presentation. Teachers can encourage collaborative learning and design group
work assignment so that each group work on a slide then combines them together.
