Golden Ratio

Math behind beauty

We all have the same basic facial features that make our faces look human. But! We are not equally beautiful. When do you feel someone is beautiful? Being perfect in symmetry? No! Symmetry in the face doesn’t equate to beauty. Perfect symmetry tends to result in a face that appears unnatural, animated or robot like. Faces that are perceived as beautiful are the ones depending on GOLDEN RATIO. What's golden ratio?  It’s the base of life in terms of measurements, as it forms a part of everything that constitutes us and all around us. The Greek letter phi represents the golden ratio. It is an irrational number with a value of:
What has mathematics got to do with beauty? Physical attraction depends on ratioThe mask of the human face is based on the Golden Ratio. The proportions of the length of the nose, the position of the eyes and the length of the chin, all conform to some aspect of the Golden Ratio.

How to Determine Golden Beauty

With the math behind it, the symmetry of your face can be measured. The closer this number is to 1.62, the more beautiful it is judged to be subconsciously. The simplest measurement is the length of your face divided by the widest part of your face.
